Privacy Notice

Who we are

HardToFindCode.com is operated by Kristofer Youngstrom Company, PO Box 1547, South Pasadena, CA 91031. Questions about this notice: resources@hardtofindcode.com. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Information you give us

We only collect what you type into our forms:

• Contact form (contact page): name, email, company and phone (optional), inquiry type, project description, timeline, the urgent flag, and the page and campaign tags (UTM) that brought you to the form.
• Product and Bluebeam requests (products and Bluebeam services): email, the product you chose and your description.
• Resource suggestions (resources): name, email and the resource details you submit.

These forms are processed by Formspree, an outside service that delivers your submission to us by email and keeps a copy under its own privacy policy.

What we use it for

To answer your inquiry, deliver what you asked for, schedule and follow up on services, and keep basic business records. We don't add you to a mailing list without your permission.

Outside services on this site

• Zoom Scheduler: if you book a session, booking details go to Zoom under Zoom's privacy policy.
• Google Drive: some exam-prep audio players are embedded from Google Drive, and Google may receive your IP address and browser details when they load.
• Fontshare: site fonts load from Fontshare, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
• Social links: our LinkedIn, Facebook and Upwork links open those sites, which have their own privacy policies. We don't embed their tracking buttons.

Hosting and site statistics

The site is hosted by GoDaddy. Like most web servers, it records basic technical information (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) for security and performance. GoDaddy also adds a small traffic-measurement script that counts page views and records browser and device information. We use this only in summary form to see which pages are useful.

Information stored in your browser

Site preferences such as the light or dark theme are kept only while the page is open. Study tools that save progress, such as an exam-prep checklist, store it only in your own browser (local storage). It is not sent to us, and you can clear it with the tool's Reset button.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry emails for as long as needed to serve you and meet business and tax record-keeping needs, then delete them.

Your choices and California rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email resources@hardtofindcode.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We will confirm the request comes from you and respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Children

This site is meant for electrical professionals, apprentices and students. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
